My name is Gene Mink, and I've spent my career in a quiet pursuit of one question: what does it actually take to age stronger — not weaker — after 50?

For too long, the standard model has treated the second half of life like a slow descent. Another diagnosis. Another prescription. Another shrug. I watched it happen to people I loved, to patients I worked with, to friends my own age. And I came to a conclusion I couldn't unsee: most adults aren't broken. They're under-supported, under-coached, and under-equipped for the season they're actually in.

The Conviction

My faith has shaped this work from the first day. "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." That single line — Proverbs 27:17 — became the name of this practice for a reason. It's how I believe healing actually happens: not through a perfect protocol handed down from above, but through a refining process — practitioner and patient, side by side, walking the road together and getting sharper for the friction of it.

Strength is not soft. Discipline is not gentle. The work of rebuilding vitality after 50 takes both — and it takes a community of motivated adults who refuse to coast quietly into decline.
